No rules, no religion, no personal property, just love and freedom.

Is it possible to create a society with these precepts? In 1890, the famous Italian anarchist Giovanni Rossi and his followers set off for Brazil to do just this. After receiving permission and a large tract of land from Emperor Dom Pedro II these adventurers sail towards a new life. Unfortunately, theirs is not a smooth journey. The emperor is overthrown and the land they had hoped for is gone. The new Brazilian republic allows them to start their colony, but instead of fertile fields, it offers a barren wasteland. To compound the problem, they are surrounded by devout Catholic settlements that threaten their very lives.

This mini-series, based on the historical records and filmed on location in Italy and Brazil , stars: Paulo Betti ( A Próxima Vítima ), Gabriela Duarte ( Por Amor ), Enio Gonçalves ( Pedra sobre Pedra ), Denise Del Vecchio ( Top Model ), among others.
